March 2021 Demo

Steve Miller was our guest speaker in March. Steve is a talented north Texas artist who shared his love of outdoor painting and years of experience. This informative talk and demo covered the special challenges of Plein Air painting in our Texas heat, wind, and sun. Steve had tips on easel selection to shade umbrellas as well as great advice on lay out, canvas prep, and blocking in oil paintings. This demo was a good prep for next month's Plein Air event.
