About Mansfield Area Art Association

Our Beginnings:

Mansfield Area Art Association started in 2018 as Mansfield Art Association when a small group of local artists, led by Linda Roman, met to create an organization that could promote all of the visual artists and visual arts in Mansfield, TX area.

In 2021, the name was changed to ARTium. In 2024, the name was changed to Mansfield Area Art Association as a better reflection of our group and vision. Our main focus is the promotion of our artists in the North Texas and surrounding areas. Our work can be defined as not only market exposure and networking but also training and the sharing of skills.  Both social and economic inclusion were agreed to be of paramount importance. To help achieve those goals, the membership was made open to anyone over the age of 16, and the membership fee is set to a nominal amount at the beginning of the year.

Due to increased interest from artists across North Central Texas, membership is now open to visual artists from North Texas and surrounding areas.

Our Vision:

The vision of Mansfield Area Art Association is to support and promote a vibrant art community across North Texas and surrounding areas.

Our Environment:

Mansfield Area Art Association is 501 (C)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization. We operate from membership fees, grants, fundraisers, donations and sponsors.
